Bernard Burroughs, MEd, ATC

Assistant Athletic Trainer

A native of Valdosta GA, Bernard Burroughs came to the Capstone in 1998 after serving as Head Athletic Trainer at Tuskegee University.  Currently as Assistant Athletic Trainer Bernard provides athletic healthcare to the Men's Cross Country and Track Team in addition to supervising the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer responsible for Women's Cross Country and Track.  Bernard is very interested in strengthening and conditioning and has extensive experience working as a personal trainer with a variety of clients. 

Mr. Burroughs is a clinical instructor and member of the ATEP selection committee.  He also co-coordinates the observation component of HAT 258.  As a CI Bernard is very effective in the instruction and assessment of injury prevention skills.
