Monica Decker-Veal was named Assistant Athletic Trainer at the Capstone in the summer of 2002. In her capacity of staff athletic trainer, Monica will continue her work with the 2002 NCAA Championship Gymnastics team. She will also hold an Instructor appointment to the Athletic Training Education Program. This role will see Monica teaching one class each semester and working with students on clinical skills in the ATEP classroom three days per week.
Monica has been a Clinical Instructor within the ATEP since 2000, when she was hired as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. She will continue as a Clinical Instructor and will also serve on the ATEP Selection Committee.
