  Stephen Nagy, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Health Science at The University of Alabama.  He received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon. His research interest include issues of risk behavior and maltreatment in adolescents.   Rachel Abbott, M.S. is a first year Ph.D. student in Health Education/Health Promotion at The University of Alabama.  She received a B.S. in Exercise Science from Longwood (VA) College, and a M.S. in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Florida State University.  Her research interests include breast cancer prevention and adolescent  risk behaviors, primarily focused on drug use among teens.  Feel free to contact Rachel by phone at (205) 348-2486 or by e-mail at abbot008@bama.ua.edu

  Don Chaney, M.S. is a second year PhD student in Health Education/Health Promotion at The University of Alabama.  Don's research interests include school violence prevention program development, adolescent tobacco use prevention, technological applications in health education interventions, and health promotion advocacy.  Don also serves as the Associate Editor for the American Journal of Health Studies, and the webmaster for all Department of Health Science related websites.  He has worked with in cooperation with the Attorney General of Mississippi, the Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi, and the American Cancer Society in needs assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating school health education programs throughout the State of Mississippi.  Feel free to contact Don by phone at (205) 348-8366 or by e-mail at chane003@bama.ua.edu
