![]() Dear CHES family,
Victory for the Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff was an exciting kickoff to spring 2021 at The University of Alabama. We all take pride in being part of a championship school. And at Alabama, I see champions everywhere I look, from the athletic fields to the research labs and classrooms. As we’ve learned from our winning football team, rising to the top is no easy feat. It takes hard work and strict adherence to a proven process. CHES continues to be a place where students learn and grow. Faculty members are working diligently to incorporate innovative learning experiences to keep students engaged. It has and always will be the goal of this College to prepare you to succeed in your chosen career. Each semester brings you closer to that goal. Because of the challenges we’ve faced in the last few semesters, everyone has had to get creative and develop new processes to become effective teachers and learners. I am proud of the way faculty, students and administrators persevered. I also appreciate how well our students adhere to UA COVID-19 protocols. I look forward to a day when we do not need masks anymore and can see smiling faces in our classrooms. Until then, let’s trust the process and continue to practice social distancing and masking to keep our campus safe. |
