HES is proud to count among its many accomplished graduates, Sheryl Yuengling of Yuengling & Sons, Inc., America's Oldest Brewery. We are fortunate to once again collaborate with her to bring you this year's Brews and 'Que! Not only is this a chance for guests to sample a variety of Yuengling beers and eat great food, it also provides our hospitality students an opportunity to get hands-on experience running an event.
Make your reservations now so you don't miss out on this once-a-year event! Dean Boschung hosted a reception for the professional members of the musical, The Countess of Storyville, at the University Club on February 18, 2016. The musical, which came to the University of Alabama's Marian Gallaway Theatre is being produced by Tony Award winning commercial producer Margot Astrachan, who premiered the show at UA as part of its development process on the road to Broadway. Members of the cast and crew, some from New York City and Los Angeles, were treated to delicious southern fare including shrimp and grits, voo-doo pepper greens, and bread pudding among other traditional delights.
